The League of Friends is helping the nursing teams keep a close eye on important observations such as heart, breathing and oxygen levels, with information also available on screens at nurses' station
That means teams can spot if someone's condition changes and respond quickly when needed, while supporting people more time to rest,recover and spend time with friends and family.
The new equipment is now in use in the Special Care Baby Unit, Paediatric Emergency Department, Louisa Cary Ward, Louisa Cary High Dependency Unit and Midgley Ward
